Delivery information

WHEN WILL MY BREAD ARRIVE?

All our artisan bread is handmade to order. We will email or text you to let you know which day your goods will be baked. If you are local we will hand deliver. If your order is shipped it will be sent via DHL on the day it is baked. It should arrive within two days of being sent. We always book and pay for next day delivery but this may still result in a delay. For a Guaranteed Next Day Delivery please contact us. We will charge you the rate quoted by the couriers.

If you want a specific delivery day please let us know immediately after placing your order through our contact form or email us at info@lgfab.org. Please ensure you order at least 5 days before you need delivery, if you require shipping.

How much does delivery cost?

Local hand deliveries

Free deliveries for residents of IG8, IG9, IG10 and E4. Minimum order £12.00.

Extended free deliveries for IG4,IG5, IG6, IG7, E11, E18, CM5, CM16, EN9, RM4,RM12: Minimum order £20.

For local and extended free hand deliveries, orders under the minimum will incur an £8 delivery charge.

National deliveries

Our Standard Delivery Rate is £8. However, If you are wanting guaranteed Next Day Delivery after your goods are baked to order, please enquire about prices. We will charge the current rate charged by our couriers.

Free boxed deliveries – Minimum order £70, includes free delivery by courier around the UK. (Below £70 incurs a Standard Rate charge of £8, or guaranteed Next Day Delivery after your goods are baked to order, please enquire about prices. We will charge the current rate charged by our couriers.) 

We regret, we are unable to deliver to Northern Ireland.

How do I store my Leigh’s gluten-free bread?

Our bread contains no preservatives, but it will last for about 3 days if kept in an airtight bag to retain freshness. You can refresh the bread by warming briefly in the microwave or oven. 

If you want to freeze your bread, please do so on the day you receive it. Defrost thoroughly and warm through in the oven for 10-15 minutes.

 

Are your products safe for special diets?

Suitable for Coeliacs

Our products are safe for Coeliacs. We only make gluten-free products, so there is no risk of cross-contamination.

Dairy-free

All our bread is suitable for those with dairy intolerance as the majority contain no dairy at all. Brioche rolls and the sourdough boule contain dairy-free butter. Please click here to see a full ingredients list of our products.

Vegan diet

You can order the vegan options in our shop by selecting the vegan tab. All our vegan loaves are made with aquafaba or flaxseed to replace the egg white. The vast majority of our loaves do not contain any dairy products. Challah, brioche rolls and cakes are not currently available in the vegan range but we are working on these in the development kitchen.
