Hello and welcome! My name is Leigh and I am the baker behind the name of the business! I have been baking gluten-free bread and cakes for a long time.
Our son was diagnosed Coeliac in 2016 when he was 11. He reacted badly to the many additives and preservatives of all the shop-bought bread. So began the journey to experiment and make gluten-free bread for him at home, using just simple, good ingredients. As anyone who has tried to bake gluten-free will know, it is very different to making normal bread!
We have one simple test: that the gluten-free bread tastes, smells and feels like a normal loaf. It means that all the family can enjoy eating it together. Our lad is so thrilled to be eating good bread again, to be able to have sandwiches without it falling apart, and (crucial for a teenager) burger buns, hot-dog rolls and bagels!
